Pemaquid Fisherman's Co-Operative was founded in 1947 and is the oldest
known continually operating fishermen's co-operative in the country!

Lobstering is a way of life that we cherish!

We are a group of thirty lobstermen.The youngest of our members
is 21 and the oldest is 92. Jimmy, our oldest member, fishes 100
traps in season and enjoys the solitude of doing so on his own.

Pemaquid is one of 4 villages in the town of Bristol which has a
year-round population of 2,644. Our property sits on 4.5 acres of
shorefront at the mouth of Pemaquid Harbor in mid-coast Maine.
